I love these ideas! I find that when you have to make a last minute costume thrift shops are a must. They have some pretty funky clothes that you can cover in fake blood or rip up and better yet all the money you spend goes to a great cause!

my friend got a brown sack and cut a hole in it (so her face could stick out) and then wore brown leggings and put different colored brown paper ovals on the sack and said that she was a potato. 365 Halloween Response: A brown sack covered in brown paper? Dang, your friend must have amazing self-confidence to have pulled that off. I'd like to see a version with some googley eyes instead of paper and call it a mutant potato. Any takers?

well….dress regularly and attach a leaf to a hat…when someone asks, tell them you are a leaf blower and blow the leaf

How do you think the guy with the “creepy mask” got the magazine paper to stick to his face? I love this idea! but am not quite sure how to make it stick.

365 Halloween Response: Good question. I assumed it was held on by string or elastic until I got a close up look. It really seems molded onto his face, huh? Spirit gum, maybe? How about leaving this question in the comments of the flickr page and see if he elaborates on the process?

Take any brown cloth you can find and cut it in the shape of a “fat tie” hang it around your neck and attach a paper plate with the number one on it and go as pin the tail on the donkey..
